MEGA sync (MegaDownloader) securely interacts with your internet browser, handling file transfers for enhanced performance. The app moves deleted files to special folders on your local computer and in your account so they can be restored if you need to. Manually upload specific files from your computer to MEGA or import MEGA links for download to your computer. This was unwanted behavior.Manage all your transfers conveniently from within the MEGAsync transfer manager. But that deleted the files from the hard drive too. It does not do this.Īdditionally, when browsing the Rubbish Bin, some items don't have a "Restore" option when right-clicking them.ĮDIT 2: So I searched the cloud drive for all the files it was trying to download and I deleted them. That is easily miss-able and should be added to the "info" in my opinion.Īlso, when browsing the Rubbish Bin, the expected behavior was that the status bar would show up after clicking an item and tell you where the file was deleted from. Clicking the "." -> "info" only tells me Name, Size, Last modified, Date added.ĮDIT: Oh, I see there's a status bar that tells you the location when you click on an item. However, when I search for a file in the cloud drive, in the results there is no way to find out where in the cloud drive the file is being stored. I'm trying to search the cloud drive for the files that the windows program is trying to download. Setting it to 1kbps seems to save though. But that setting did not save and reset itself to "don't limit". I set the download rate limit to 0 kbps so that it wouldn't download. So I can't figure out what or where it's downloading.ĮDIT 2: I found another bug. Though even after emptying the rubbish the transfer manager still has hundreds of downloads queued. Adding "Rubbish" to the exclusions didn't work. So I want to prevent it from downloading rubbish. Looks like it's sync debris or rubbish being downloaded to G:\Programs\Rubbish for some reason. It's putting back files I deleted from my hard drive. EDIT: oops, I misspelled it, that's why I didn't find it. I searched the file name of one of the downloads "markviewerplus" and got 0 results in both my online megasync folders and in my G drive. ![]() ![]() Nothing ever shows up in that downloads folder. And I have the download folder set to C:/User/Downloads. I have Megasync set to sync "G:/Documents to /Documents". I'm worried that it's overwriting files I don't want overwritten, or that it's just adding junk files somewhere I can't track. When you right click on an item, or even just mouse-over, you should be able to see the location of where the file is being downloaded to.
